Frame agreement for wellhead picking
NCA has signed a frame agreement with Det Norske Oljeselskap for "rig chase" services in relation to their exploration drilling program. Det norske will cement their wells with the drilling rig and leave behind the subsea wellhead for later removal from a less expensive vessel. The contract has a duration of three years plus two years options, and minimum 8 wells. (05.03.10)
World Record for the Wellhead Picker
NCA has successfully completed a subsea wellhead recovery operation at 265 meter water depth in the Northern North Sea. (26.11.09)
Successful operations for Mariner Energy
NCA’s innovative, patented Internal Multi-String Cutting Tool (IMCT) utilizing abrasive water jet cutting technology has proven itself once again. While carrying out platform abandonment operations in the Gulf of Mexico for Mariner Energy, Inc. a Houston based independent offshore producer; NCA’s offshore crew was successful in cutting and proving ten (10) conductor drive pipes and fifteen (15) multi-string, grouted conductors.
