Acquisition of IOS Offshore Holding AS and IOS Offshore AS by Acteon Group Ltd
Acteon Group Ltd, Norse Cutting & Abandonment AS and International Oilfield Services AS announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Acteon will acquire IOS Offshore Holdings AS and its subsidiary IOS Offshore AS. (03.06.10)
Frame agreement for wellhead picking
NCA has signed a frame agreement with Det Norske Oljeselskap for "rig chase" services in relation to their exploration drilling program. Det norske will cement their wells with the drilling rig and leave behind the subsea wellhead for later removal from a less expensive vessel. The contract has a duration of three years plus two years options, and minimum 8 wells. (05.03.10)

While carrying out platform abandonment operations in the Gulf of Mexico for Mariner Energy, Inc. a Houston based independent offshore producer; NCA’s offshore crew was successful in cutting and proving ten (10) conductor drive pipes and fifteen (15) multi-string, grouted conductors. NCA awarded international contracts of 100 million NOK
Norse Cutting & Abandonment AS (NCA) has signed three major contracts for plug and abandonment and decommissioning work in the North Sea and the Middle East. The contracts with BP in the North Sea, Heerema Marine Contractors in the Netherlands, and a leading oil company in the Middle East have a total value of more than 100 million NOK over three years.
